'New Hermes Vanguard 3400, Searching the website'

I recently purchased a New Hermes Vanguard 3400, it is fully functional but I would like to upgrade the software to a more user friendly system (preferably Macintosh OSX), a G-code driver would be acceptable.

I am attempting to search your web site but cannot find a search function. Can anyone assist in either searching your site or with recommendations on software to drive my system.

Quality One (a US firm) is what you are looking for.

From what I read he does outstanding job in upgrading old engraving system.

Our business purchased a New Hermes Vanguard 3400 several years ago and was never put to full use. It has minimum hours on it and we closed our store, we wish to sell it if possible. We will entertain any reasonable offer.

Our Vanguard 4000 engraving machine just died today. The Controller does not have power to operate the engraving machine.

As far as I know there are no mac programs that will drive the machine.

Gravostyle 98 will drive it.

FIRST, YOU MUST HAVE AN OLDER MODEL COMPUTER WITH WINDOWS 95 OR 98 THAT YOU CAN ASSIGN THE PRINTER PORTS TO. NEWER MODELS THAT AUTOMATICALLY ASSIGN THE PRINTER PORT NUMBERS WILL NOT WORK. I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE.

IF YOU HAVE THE EP CONSOLE YOU CAN PURCHASE THE SOFTWARE FOR YOUR MACHINE FROM GRAVOGRAPH IN GEORGIA FOR ABOUT $50, BUT YOU MUST HAVE THE EP MODULE WITH A YELLOW "DONGLE" IN THE CABLE FROM THE COMPUTER TO THE EP CONSOLE. NEW DONGLE IS $1500.

IF YOU HAVE ONLY THE 3400 ENGRAVER AND NO EP MODULE COST FOR SOFTWARE IS EXPENSIVE. IF YOU FIND SOME OTHER SOFTWARE THAT WILL DRIVE THE 3400 WITHOUT THE EP CONSOLE LET ME KNOW. JIMFITZSR@GMAIL.COM

I have a Vanguard 3400 and I am looking to have my spindle rebuilt or buy a used one. I don't know if there are any new ones, but I'd be interested in purchasing one. New Hermes (according to my book that came with my machine) used to rebuild or sell new. I don't know if that is still the case. Can anyone help me?
