CNC Programmer-contract work? What should I ask for?

I'm about to switch employers, but I believe my current employer would still like to use me on a part-time basis.
What wage would be fair of me to ask for? Obviously more since it's what you might call contractual, but what?
I program 3 axis lathes, mills & routers. I'll be doing 5 axis within the year.
Any input would be great!
