::--Where I'm Coming from--::

I just started reading about CNC machines so I don't know much at all. I am planing on starting a business doing wood work , and few metal things here and there as well. Its looking like I have 3 teams of guys working on 3 large custom houses who could use help pumping out custom piece's (some large in quantity, some not so large). Seems like there could be a decent amount of work depending on how fast it is to design pieces for the CNC machine. Oh and learning what ever program I need to learn won't be a problem.

Haas SR-100

::--Questions--::

1. anyone have any of these machines or a machine from the same company? can you give the pro's and con's of your machine?

2. is there a machine similar you could suggest? Don't want to spend over 40, 000 and thats scarry as it is because not sure how much income I'm going to get from it yet.

3. does anyone think these machines can cut aluminum, brass, and/or bronze. If you do cut certain things can it void your warranty?

4. any tips or helpful comments for a newbie just getting into this stuff (especially for picking out a machine)?
