Big G (69.178.19.187) -

I called Haas and they told me to buy a new cable usb to 21 pin serial with a driver cd to load onto my pc. Did that and the program says transfered successful. But no data received @ mill. Do you have any suggestions?

I assume you've probably already checked for compatible stop bit and parity settings...

Try some software called ProDNC.

Free download for 30-day trial.

If/when that solves your problem, the $250 registration will probably seem more worthwhile than sorting out usb/serial connection issues.
