This gentleman is a retired professor and has a program of DVD's that you can purchase and play on your computer - it's a pretty good and cheap system for learning CNC programming and machining - and it works.

The best machining school in the st louis area is Ranken Technical College. I went there in 1995 and have had jobs ever since. The school is better equipped now than it was then.

There are many other affordable options in St. Louis, check your local community colleges (Four Rivers, Southwestern Illinois College)
