This website has some good information on CNC's. Here is also a page that I found some good cnc links from this site. It has some good links to some program simulations, free learning courses and some other good websites.

Try my book "The Journeyman's Guide to CNC Machines" that covers both turning and machining centres with Fanuc and Siemens controls

hi, we have a retrofit lathe with fanuc 0iTB mate control , we have a new job where we need to make a R8 radii , we are not getting this properly, we got a local programming guy to have a look at our program and he feels it's ok, do we need to ensure if any parameters are enabled to form radii. thanks again rags

Hursty a question for you I need a book that does a better job explaining blending circular interpolation to linear interpolation can't read my notes from school need a refresher I'm not using tool nose radius comp program . i am doing it out myself. How well does your book go into these subjects. thanks for your help Jim USA

The best on hand reference I have found is "CNC Programming Handbook" by Peter Smid. you will find it very informative and broken down into simple terms. Even dissecting Canned cycles.Enjoy
