Wanted Virtual CNC Machine

I want a program for my pc which would be a virtual cnc machine. I put in my CNC program, material and tool descriptions and it gives me a .jpg which would show exactly what my CNC machine will produce. Where can I get this program?

Actually there are several small programs that will "back plot" your "G" code and actually simulate running the program on your CNC machine. If you need any help finding one, contact me.

That means from the inputs given the program will generate a virtual prospective output. You can try some CAD software. I hope that should be of your help.

Hi Brian!

If you want to simulate your program and see the final part in 3D then you can do it in any CAM software like Mastercam or surfcam.

But if you are looking for a progarm that can convert your 2D drawings in 3D and also acts as virtual machining expert, giving automated costing, then you can use our free software ( emachineshop CAD ), which is free download from http://www.emachineshop.com.

I have a NUM 750 on a used CNC router for woodworking jobs and I am searching a program to create and transmit the programs from MegaCAD to the machine. Can somebody help me with this problem?

i m going to convert mainly G2 to G3 to its original points bcause mi controller only support g0 , g1 code so need to convert

I am the product manager for just such a product, Predator Virtual CNC. It will take G code and produce a solid model of the resulting tool path. Output can be an STL file. You can also measure the virtual part, edit any errors by identifying the the area on the model, get cycle times, material removed, etc. It's not cheap, but there are student versions available. Our web site allows you to download a demo copy.

CIMCO (www.cimco.dk) has this in its editor. You can download it and use it without restrictions for 30 days. It has a linear or solid backploter in it plus it has some nice programming tools. It is relatively inexpensive compared to most of the other thinks I have seen like predators product, vericut or a cam system.

Also Ralf, it has serial communication built in and the CNC calc section can output simple gcode, like pockets, hole patterns, etc.

hi everybody, i need some help, i have a cnc router num 750 SCM, and when the drill is working it don't down to the zero point, it only still in the initial position, and in the error messages appers error 6 out of range, so if anyone can help me, i really apreciate it.
