Seimens controller Alarm

Seimens controller Alarm

Hello all,

Ok ! I have purchased a second hand Tiwan brand cnc milling machine with SINUMERIK 802D controller and SIMODRIVE 611.

Couple of days ago due to electric shock, machine was stoped working. when I had turn off and then turn on it, there was an Alarm "700015 I/R module not ready" was appearing on screen.

I have checked the modules , they are showing "run" condition and no alarms/error is appearing on both the spindle, Zaxis and X axis, Yaxis module.

Plese help me how can i get rid this alarm.

Regards.

Riz

Thank author of this post/commentRIZ,

This is an alarm not from Siemens. This alarm is from the builder, that do the logic in PLC !!! Check if the plc is is STOP mode. Check also the eletric drawing if this enable or disable comes from directly from the ladder or if has any logic before.

"Check the Infeed Regen Module"

I/R refers to the Infeed Regen module which is the Power supply module on the left of the drives configuration. I'm guessing that the machine manufacturer is monitoring the POwer Supply OK output of the Infeed regen. So check the output is ok, the voltage spike may have killed the I/R module or just the output. Alternatively maybe the input to the control is faulty. I'm assuming that this is an analogue drive system not 611D which is digital, I seem to remember the 802 was an analogue control but I haven't used it for years.
