Hi, I have a 92 Mycenter1 and having problems with the tool change operation. In MDI mode I call up a pot number the machine responds, when I type in command M6 the pot drops down as should but the spindle spins at 1000 to 1100RPM rather than the slow RPM I’m use to seeing. Then the spindle stops then nothing happens no ARM movement. The same happens when a program is run. Could someone shed some light on this problem? Thanks In advance, Eric

Eric, I am not fimilar with your machine. First off what kind of control do you have on the machine? It could be a few things. Does your machine run a macro program for the tool change? Sounds like you are missing the spindle orientate. Does the program just freeze and if so what line does it freeze on? Check to make sure all of your positioning sensors are being made. Tool change programs will in a sequence and not proceed to the next until the FIN signal is met for each. Stevo • Page 1 (Original Post) •
