What bit do I use for 3D

star123 (220.226.172.246) -

Ok I admit I'm a rookie at this, but need some help. I have attempted to make artistic 3D designs with my new CNC router. It looks so easy on the site, everyone seems to have nice smooth results. Mine however have track lines at each elevation. You can see every pass the router made. I'm thinking it's the bit, maybe the step over, I'm not sure. How do you get the smooth results?

Ball nose endmills should do the trick
