How to Make a CNC link cable:Suppose CNC has 25 pin socket. Pin 7 is 0V. Now first we will decide which pin is transfer. You can use digital voltage meter (DC 20V) to measure 2 7 and 3 7. Which paire is -8.xV to -11.xV that is transfer pin (2 or 3). Another is receive pin.OK! cnc side computer side 9pin 25 pin transfer pin --> 2 3 receive pin <-- 3 2 4-5 jumper 6-8-20 jumper pin 7 ( 0V ) 5 7 When you have made the cable, you need'nt use computer. First put the 25 pin socket on the CNC. And then test punch out (output)a program. If no alarm is ok. But some cases needs 4-5-6-8-20 connection together. Some cases 4 5 6 8 20 has not any connection as Siemens 810, 820 etc.
