FADAL VMC4020 and communication via RS232

Hi everybody!

I'm from Chile, and I'm new into this type of CNC machines and stuff.

In the company I'm working at, they have a used FADAL VMC 4020.

I'm investigating how to communicate it with a PC via the machine's RS232 port, and wich software do you recommend me to use it to send the data to the machine.

The FADAL VMC 4020 also have a Modem interface, but I don't think that it's better than the RS232 interface, what do you think?

You need a DNC Software to be able to send programs to the Fadal VMC. I use CIMCO DNC, but you can purchase NC Fadal form the distributor.
