'Fadal VMC6030-tool changer erratic'

Fadal VMC6030-tool changer erratic

Tool changer sometimes does not return to home position after a tool change.

Other times the tool changer chatters briefly before it deploys a tool to the spindle.

Newer machine in very good condition. Wiring and mechanicals appear to be ok.

Any ideas on what might be going on?
