| FANUC 15M SR820 MESSAGE Hi to you all, I have a problem with the Fanuc 15, the display is giving me a message that said " DR OFF (1) " which has to do with the Data set ready signal of reader/puncher interface is OFF based on the manual, does anybody know how to solve this issue? |
| This alarm is because you don’t have a connection (cable) to the RS232 port in which you are trying to use. This can be a few different things. Worst case your port is defective and needs to be replaced. Do you have the proper settings. You may be set to use the wrong device. Look at parameter 20 or the “device type” under the settings softkey. Try 0, 1, or 2. This depends were you are connected. What model PMC do you have? A or B? If A it is probably connected to CD4A of Base0 and you will need 0 or 1. Do you have the proper pinout of the cable? Did this work before then stop working? The pinout is below but on this forum things don’t post properly so the wiring may look a bit funky in this post.
