Haas CNC mill jamed

I was using a Haas CNC mill (dont know the model number because i am not currently in the shop) and i ran a program. when it was switching from tool 2 (3/8 endmill) to tool 1 (2" shellmill) tool 2 got stuck in the spindle and i can not get it out. Ant ideas on how to get it out?

Hi Josh, Yeah, I ran across this once before when I was cutting some really hard stuff. Was that the situation for you as well? Somehow the tool gets "wedged" in the spindle. What I did, used a soft face hammer and gently tap on the tool while someone pushed the tool release button. Be sure you are holding onto the tool while you are doing this so that when is does release it doesn't just fall right out. Another thing you may check if you weren't cutting something really nasty is the retention knob. Make sure you have the right one on your tool or this could give you problems as well.
