USB port

Is there a way to add a usb port to a Haas. There is a floppy drive however I need a USB port.

It depends on the age of the machine. There is a package that comes with a hard drive, ethernet and USB you can add. Unfortunately this is the only way you can upgrade the older processor stack to accomodate USB. You can contact your local Haas Factory Outlet with the serial number and they should be able to get you that information.

Haas has updating packages

the quoted price for a 78 VF-3 mill is $2500.00

You will have to call haas to find out about your machine.

Also give them the year, Model, and Serial numbers.
