I am writing a program by hand using a code gen program until my mastercam arrives next week.I need some help with I and J codes. I am making a rectangle with radiused corners where r=.5 the dimensions are 3.25 x 1.83 I am starting at g55 as my x0 y0 and running the tool(1") along the top of the rectangle to the left corner where my line of code reads g2x3.75y-.25j-.75 I get a good corner.I then run down to g1x3.75y-1.58 I cant seem to figure out the I-J codes to turn my arc and make the bottom of the rectangle. can any one give me some help? much appreciated!

" along the top of the rectangle to the left corner "

I meant to say right corner sorry.

Why not just use x and y moves and a radius command? Here is how I would write a pass 1 inch deep using a .500 dia. carbide endmill around a block with your dimensions.
