Is manufacturing picking up?

It seems at least in the midwest that manufacturing is picking up a little. However it also seems like large companies have run out of inventory which is why they are placing orders. Is this just a pick up for a couple months? Do you think these are the only reasons for seeing an uptick?

We feel it is pickup up from US and china, europe is behins
