Asking for expert advice for S01 Servo Alarm:PR fault with Mitsubishi Medlas 520LR CNC Control
Comment #1 Marcus Clayton from Melbourne Australia (Contact Member) -
S01 will have a code (up to 4 digits) and then an axis after it.example S01 003A X means overcurrent alarm on X axis. Check servo modules in cabinet and they will be flashing alarms. One will have 003A, the fault, and others will flash E7 which means fault on another axis. If you can identify the alarm you can have a good guide to the fault. In the above case the most common cause is a bad ballscrew bearing or swarf build up causing an overload in the motor

Marcus thank you for the information. The full servo alarm code is: S01 Servo Alarm: PR 0032S1 and it occurred during a Z axis drilling operation. Fault codes on the servo and spindle amplifiers are as follows: Axis Amplifiers: Flashing F2 E7 and F1 E7 Spindle amplifier: F3-32 Inverter Power Supply: 6 Is there a list of these faults available on the internet to find out more information. Thanks and how is the weather in the "Down Under"

Hello , Its mean your spindle amplifier is out of service, please exchange with anew one or repair it with Power Module.
