Z-axiz gibs

I have a recently aquired used 1988 Okuma MC4VA with deflection in head with slight z-axis pressure. Gibs are adjusted all the way in but still lots of play. Ways feel in good condition. Parts book calls for (4) gib & liner. Removed both lower gibs and they have teflon type surface with oil grooves on sliding side. No other "liner" piece. Both gibs are .580" tall on thick end and .495" tall on thin end. Do these dimension indicate new gibs required? Is Okuma only source for these parts? Any advice would be appreciated.
